Richmond Junior Chess Club meets on Saturdays during term time from 14.00 to 17.00 at:
ETNA Community Centre

There is easy access by road via the A316. There is some car parking at the back of the building (entrance in Riverdale Road). We are a short walk from St. Margarets Station (BR) and a 15-minute walk or short bus ride from Richmond Station (BR / Underground). Buses 33, 490, H22, H37, R68 and R70 stop within a 1-minute walk.
From September 2008, Richmond Junior Chess Club are going to run sessions on Tuesday evenings at Twickenham Prep School. We are grateful for the support we are receiving from the school to make these sessions possible. These venue will be:

The club is open to children up to 18 years old. We try to make each session a mixture of instruction, playing and fun activities.
The club is not suitable for complete beginners. Most children coming to the club will be playing regularly at home or at school and will know the rules of the game, including checkmate, stalemate, castling and en passant.
The youngest children regularly attending the club are 7 years old.
The fee for each term is £80, or £160 for a year.
