Richmond Junior Chess Club meets on Saturdays during term time from 13.00 to 16.00 at:

There is easy access by road via the A316. Please drive through the main school gates into the car park, accessed from Richmond Road. We are a 10 minute walk from Twickenham Station (BR), a 5 minute walk from St.Margarets Station (BR) and a 20 minute walk or short bus ride from Richmond Station (BR / Underground). Buses 33, 490, H22, N22, R68 and R70 all stop outside the school.
Richmond Junior Chess Club also run sessions on Tuesday evenings at Twickenham Prep School. We are grateful for the support we receive from the school to make these sessions possible. The venue will be:

The club is open to children up to 18 years old. We try to make each session a mixture of instruction, playing and fun activities.
The club is not suitable for complete beginners. Most children coming to the club will be playing regularly at home or at school and will know the rules of the game, including checkmate, stalemate, castling and en passant.
The youngest children regularly attending the club are 8 years old. However we do consider younger children.
The fee for each term is £120, or £225 for the whole year.
