Peter Sowray
Peter is a FIDE master with a current international rating of 2383. He is a regular competitor at international tournaments, including the British Championship and the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL).
Many moons ago he was a British Junior Champion and has over 20 grandmaster scalps. He has been associated with Richmond chess for over 30 years.
Peter is an experienced coach and has worked with both junior and adult players, individually and in groups. As well as working with Richmond Junior Chess Club, he teaches at primary and secondary schools. He is a qualified first-aider.
