I am delighted to announce that the Lunchtime Chess Club will continue in Summer Term 2026 at GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy. Paul McKeown will continue to run the club, and it will continue on Monday lunchtimes.
The chess club will run on Monday lunchtimes from 12:00 to 12:40 for Years 3 and 4 and from 13:00 to 13:40 for Years 5 and 6. The club will start on 20th April, and will run until 6th July, with a break on 4th May for the Bank Holiday, on 25th May for half-term, and on 1st June for an INSET Day. The club will therefore be held on 9 sessions in Summer Term 2026.
The cost of the club will be £81.00 for the term (i.e. £9.00 per session) and will accept a maximum of 14 children per session. All standards will be catered for.
