I am delighted to announce that the Lunchtime Chess Club will continue in Spring Term 2026 at GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy. Paul McKeown will continue to run the club, and it will continue on Monday lunchtimes.
The chess club will run on Monday lunchtimes from 12:00 to 12:40 for Years 3 and 4 and from 13:00 to 13:40 for Years 5 and 6. The club will start on 12th January, and will run until 16th March, with a break for half-term on 16th February. The club will therefore be held on 9 sessions in Spring Term 2026.
The cost of the club will be £81.00 for the term (i.e. £9.00 per session) and will accept a maximum of 14 children per session. All standards will be catered for.
